# Document Upload

> File upload with optional OCR processing, camera capture, and multi-file support

The **Document Upload** question lets candidates upload files such as IDs, certificates, or other documents.

## Configuration

| Option                    | Description                                                                  |
| ------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **File type**             | Restrict accepted file types                                                 |
| **Input methods**         | Allow file upload, camera capture, or both                                   |
| **Multiple files**        | Allow candidates to upload more than one file                                |
| **OCR**                   | Enable optical character recognition to extract data from uploaded documents |
| **Rotate for OCR**        | Auto-rotate documents before OCR processing                                  |
| **Text extraction**       | Extract raw text content from documents via OCR                              |
| **Document requirements** | Define what the candidate should upload (e.g., front and back of ID)         |
