When an event’s location is set to Google Meet, a video meeting link is automatically generated for each booking via the Google Calendar API.

How It Works

  1. An admin creates an event with location type Google Meet
  2. When a candidate books a time slot, a Google Calendar event is created with a Meet link attached
  3. Both the candidate and the host receive the meeting link in their booking confirmation
  4. The Meet link is unique per booking

Setup

To use Google Meet events, the host must have a connected Google account with Calendar access. The system uses the host’s Google credentials to create calendar events and generate Meet links.

Booking Flow

Calendar Sync

  • Events are created on the host’s Google Calendar
  • Additional attendees can be added via the additional emails setting on the event
  • Calendar invites are sent automatically to all attendees
