How It Works
- An admin creates an event with location type Google Meet
- When a candidate books a time slot, a Google Calendar event is created with a Meet link attached
- Both the candidate and the host receive the meeting link in their booking confirmation
- The Meet link is unique per booking
Setup
To use Google Meet events, the host must have a connected Google account with Calendar access. The system uses the host’s Google credentials to create calendar events and generate Meet links.Booking Flow
| Step | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Candidate books | A Google Calendar event is created on the host’s calendar with a Meet link |
| Confirmation | The candidate and host both receive the booking details including the Meet link |
| Rescheduling | The Google Calendar event is updated with the new time |
| Cancellation | The Google Calendar event is removed |
Calendar Sync
- Events are created on the host’s Google Calendar
- Additional attendees can be added via the additional emails setting on the event
- Calendar invites are sent automatically to all attendees
